Dental and medical clinics

Waiting rooms and treatment rooms that lower the pulse, not raise it.

Patients arrive anxious. Clinical interiors with bare walls, product posters and harsh light make it worse; a few well-placed, quiet prints are one of the cheapest changes a practice can make to how a visit feels. The constraint is practical: everything must be cleanable, hung securely and neutral enough for every patient.

DecoSwift bundles for clinics lean on botanical and horizon studies in muted palettes, delivered frame-ready so they can go behind sealed acrylic for infection-control cleaning, with a commercial display license for the practice.

Where the prints go

Waiting room

Two or three 16×20 prints on the wall patients face from the chairs, not above their heads.

Treatment rooms

One 16×20 in the patient's eye line from the chair, often on the ceiling-facing wall or beside the window.

Corridors

A 16×20 at each turn helps wayfinding and breaks up long runs of doors.

Reception

One 16×20 behind the desk, away from sanitiser stations and sprays.

Sizing for dental and medical clinics

Patients view clinic art from seated positions, so centre prints lower than usual, around 50 to 54 inches in waiting areas, and place treatment-room prints exactly where the reclined patient's eyes rest. Use a single 16×20 in rooms under 10 feet and a row of two or three in waiting rooms; larger sizes are available on quote.

Questions from dental and medical clinics

Can the prints be cleaned with clinical disinfectant?

Frame them behind acrylic with a sealed back, then the frame and glazing can be wiped with the same products as the rest of the room. The print itself stays untouched.

Are the images appropriate for all patients?

The bundles recommended here are abstract botanicals, horizons and earth tones with no figures, text or medical imagery, suitable for paediatric through to geriatric practices.

Is a license needed for a medical practice?

Any art displayed in a business benefits from a documented license. Every DecoSwift bundle includes a commercial display license for the practice, with paperwork for your records.

How many prints for a four-chair dental practice?

Typically one bundle: two in the waiting room, one per treatment room, with the fifth in the corridor or reception. Larger practices add a second bundle.

Fifty prints, licensed for your walls.
