Bars and lounges

Art that holds up when the dimmers go down.

Most wall art is designed for daylight. Hang it in a bar and it either disappears into the dark or glows like a lightbox under the one spot aimed at it. Lounges need pieces made for low light: deep grounds, a single lit line, and enough scale to read across the room.

DecoSwift's Night Signal bundle was composed for exactly this, and the other sets pair with it for daytime trade and brighter rooms. Licensed for commercial display, so nothing on the wall is a liability on the license inspection.

Bundles that fit bars and lounges

Three Night Signal prints in slim black frames, each under its own ceiling spotlight on the dark panelled wall of a dim hotel bar, with a lit table lamp, flowers and a leather armchair below.

Night Signal from $199 per set

Near-black fields with one glowing mint or violet thread: designed to be lit by a spot, not by daylight.

Three Chromatic Drift prints in black frames on a white studio wall above a dark sofa and a yellow armchair.

Chromatic Drift from $199 per set

Glowing orbs and colour bands on charcoal for lounges with coloured lighting.

Three Ribbon Weave prints in oak frames above a corduroy sofa in a warm lamp-lit lounge.

Ribbon Weave from $189 per set

Clay and navy ribbons glow under amber light and keep their shape in dim, moody rooms.

Every bundle: five original 16×20 inch prints (4:5), a placement guide and a commercial display license; larger sizes on quote. One to four sets by card, five or more at 15% off by quote.

Where the prints go

Back bar

Usually bottles and mirror, so put the art beside the bar on the first wall guests face: a trio of 16×20 under spots, or a larger size on quote.

Booth walls

One 16×20 per booth, centred on the table, hung at seated eye level.

Entry corridor

A row of 16×20 prints lit by small spots sets the mood before the room.

Restrooms

The most photographed room in a bar. One 16×20 per restroom, framed under acrylic.

Sizing for bars and lounges

Bars are viewed seated and from across the room: one 16×20 per booth, and a trio or a larger quoted print on the feature wall. Light each print with a single warm spot at 30 degrees, and use non-glare acrylic so the spot does not reflect.

Questions from bars and lounges

Will dark prints just vanish on a dark wall?

Not when lit. Night Signal prints have a single lit element on a deep ground; a small spot on each one gives the room points of light without raising the ambient level.

Can the art survive a late-night crowd?

Frame under acrylic with security hangers, especially in corridors and restrooms, and reorder any single print from a past bundle if one is damaged.

Do you do daytime and night-time sets?

Many bars pair Night Signal on the feature wall with Terra Forms or Meridian in the daylight areas. Mixed bundles still count toward volume pricing.

Is business display licensed?

Yes. Every bundle includes a commercial display license covering bars, lounges and restaurants the buyer owns or leases.
