Commercial wall art, in numbers.

The figures we use to plan art for businesses: how many pieces, what size, how high, what it costs and how long it takes. Quote them freely.

How many pieces of art does a cafe or restaurant need?

Plan one anchor wall plus one print for every 150 to 300 square feet of public floor, closer to 150 where people sit near the walls. A 1,500 square foot cafe usually takes six to nine prints, which is two bundles of five.

How much art does a hotel, clinic or rental with many rooms need?

One print per room, plus two or three for shared areas such as lobbies and corridors for every ten rooms.

What size wall art should a business use?

The standard DecoSwift set is five 16×20 inch prints (4:5). Within arm's reach and across a table a single 16×20 reads as intentional; pairs and trios cover wider walls. Across a room or in a lobby a larger print suits, and larger sizes are available on quote in the same ratio, so one framing standard covers a building.

How high should art hang in a commercial space?

In standing rooms (lobbies, retail, reception) the center of the print sits 57 to 60 inches above the floor. In seated rooms (dining, waiting rooms, salons) the center sits 50 to 54 inches up. Above furniture, leave 6 to 10 inches between the furniture and the bottom of the frame.

How much does commercial wall art cost?

DecoSwift bundles cost $179 to $199 for five original prints, about $36 to $40 per print, with a commercial display license included. Off-the-shelf 16×20 frames add roughly $25 to $60 each; larger sizes are quoted, and their frames run about $45 to $200.

Are there volume discounts on wall art for multiple locations?

Yes. One to four sets are paid by card, five or more sets are 15% off through a quote, and ten or more are priced per project. Designers and multi-site operators get trade pricing from the first order.

What does DecoSwift's commercial display license cover?

Display of the prints on premises the buyer owns or leases, including in marketing photography of the space. It comes with every set.

How long does delivery take?

Card orders of one to four sets ship unframed and frame-ready within ten business days to US addresses. Quote orders typically ship within two weeks of approval.

Is there a wall art subscription for businesses?

Yes. The DecoSwift Art Rotation sends a new five-print set every quarter for $149 including US shipping, and can be skipped or cancelled at any time.

What art goes with exposed brick?

Prints with a light, matte ground and strong dark or blue accents, in black frames at least an inch wide. See the wall finish guide for the bundles that score highest on brick.

What art goes with navy or dark green walls?

Light-ground prints with warm accents such as ochre, terracotta or coral, in brass or gold frames with a cream mat, lit by a spot or picture light.

Can I see the art on my own wall before buying?

Yes. The DecoSwift wall visualizer places any bundle on a photo of your wall in perspective, in the browser, without uploading the photo anywhere.

Do you offer 3D models of the art for designers?

Every print is available as a framed 3D model (GLB) at real-world scale, in the standard 16×20 inch size and in the larger sizes available on quote, for renderings in SketchUp, Blender, Revit or Enscape, and viewable in augmented reality on a phone.

Which glazing should commercial art use?

Glass for quiet rooms, acrylic in busy, wet or child-facing areas, UV-filtering glazing on walls that get afternoon sun, and sealed backs in clinics and salons so frames can be wiped down.

Where these come from

Counts and sizes follow the placement rules in the venue art planning guide and the planner. Prices and delivery times are DecoSwift's current terms; framing ranges are typical US retail prices for standard 4:5 frames.
